Forums - Alliance > Warrior Leveling

I'm just starting out in WoW, and when I chose a class, the one that stood out to me was the warrior. I've heard alot of talk, like, their nearly impossible to level, and you have to keep your gear up to date. I was hoping some players who've played warriors before maybe had some advice?

I've tried to level a warrior or two in my time. I'd say it all depends on spec and playstyle. My understanding is that Arms or Fury is the way to go as far as leveling as you kill quicker and therefore complete quests more quickly.

As for the gear, that is true. A warrior should keep his gear as up to date as possible to avoid falling into the pit of 'I can't get anywhere on this quest' because mobs keep killing you. One very good way to do that (and a profitable one!) is to take up blacksmithing and mining as your major professions. This way you'll stay up to date in gear/weapons plus any extra you can always sell for fun and profit!

I am making a warrior alt currently and am having alot of fun with it. As I'm still pretty low level I don't have alot of advice. I am leveling Arms, and not really following a build. try to keep battle shout up, rend is nice, hamstring anything that runs...blahblahblah. Lastly I think quest gear should be just fine for leveling.

My first toon was a warrior, i've played since vanilla, and i can tell you its still my favorite class, level as arms, surprisingly, if you have a good wep and spec, gear isn't important, dont get me wrong if you get the chance to go through a instance with some other people, do it. Spam buy +strength +agility and +stam if you DO want to keep gear up to date.
